Fiorentina Women's Supercoppa Italiana 2018

Fiorentina Women's Football Club, known simply as Fiorentina or Fiorentina Women's is the women's section of ACF Fiorentina as the main female football team in Florence.

Fiorentina Women's was founded in the summer of 2015 and soon signed up in Serie A, collecting the legacy of the historic Firenze Calcio Femminile which existed since 1979. While confirming much of the old team and the coach of the previous year, Fiorentina Women's is a society totally independent of the latter, with a completely new organization chart.
The first president is Sandro Mencucci, former managing director of ACF Fiorentina, while Vincenzo Vergine, formerly Head of Youth Development of the men's section, becomes the managing director.
The first season ended with a third place in Serie A at just one point from Verona's AGSM and qualifying for the UEFA Women's Champions League, which was shaded on the last day with defeat against AGSM Verona.
In the second season, four days before the end of the championship, the ladies qualified for the UEFA Women's Champions League 2017-2018 and on May 6, 2017, with a day's advance in the home match against Tavagnacco, Fiorentina Women's graduated Italian Champion for the first time in his history.

The team colour is the purple like ACF Fiorentina. The official emblem of the city of Florence is a red fleur-de-lis on a white field, it has been used for the badge of the club.
